People who lost their homes in that disaster moved into those temporary dwellings. 12 years since the disaster, 18 households are still living in the temporary dwellings. The people there have their own reasons for remaining. They scrape out a living. If residents make more than 120,000 yen a month, they must move out. Shinsuke Tanaka is offered money to report on what he sees and hears among the residents of the temporary dwellings. He sneaks onto the street of temporary dwellings with his cat and begins to live there.
